STEERING SYSTEM FAILURE ON THE A20 NEAR WISMAR – POWER STEERING LOSS AT HIGHWAY SPEED
The power steering system failed — the hydraulic pump seized, steering effort increased dramatically, and the truck became extremely difficult to control. The vehicle was heading eastbound toward Berlin on the A20 at highway speed when the driver felt the wheel lock up. He managed to pull over safely using emergency manoeuvres.
We handled communication in Croatian and English. The driver received a fixed-price quote for towing and emergency workshop transport. After payment confirmation, a heavy-duty recovery truck was dispatched immediately.
