ECU FAILURE ON THE A12 NEAR SLUBICE – TRUCK EMERGENCY IN THE EARLY MORNING
In April 2026, around 03:10 AM, a Romanian truck driver called our 24/7 hotline after a serious breakdown on the A99 near Slubice, close to the Slubice-West interchange.
The engine control unit shut down without warning — the engine lost all power, the dashboard went dark, and the truck coasted to a stop on the hard shoulder. A refrigerated semi-trailer heading from Warsaw toward Berlin had come to a complete standstill on a poorly lit section of motorway near the border. Attempts to restart the engine failed completely.
