In February 2026, at 02:40 at night, we received a call from a Polish driver.
Tyre blowout on the trailer axle on the A7 towards Salzburg, shortly before the Ulm-Haar exit.
Articulated truck with a refrigerated trailer, tyre size 385/65 R22.5, temperature-controlled cargo bound for Verona.
Communication was in Polish. Within 12 minutes, a written fixed price was provided; a further 8 minutes later, the advance payment had been received.
The technician from Neu-Ulm arrived on site 47 minutes after the initial call.
Tyre replacement, torque check and air pressure inspection took a total of 35 minutes.
At 04:15, the truck continued its journey. Verona was reached within the scheduled time window, and no contractual penalties were incurred by the client in Italy.
