ENGINE OVERHEATING ON THE B29 NEAR SCHORNDORF – HEAD GASKET FAILURE ON THE MOTORWAY
The engine overheated catastrophically — the head gasket blew, coolant mixed with engine oil, and white steam billowed from under the bonnet. The flatbed truck was heading northbound on the B29 when the temperature gauge buried itself in the red zone.
